This article has a two-fold objective: (i) firstly, it aims to present the main features of the Regulation (EU) 2018/1807 on a framework for the free flow of non-personal data in the European Union; (ii) secondly, it seeks to reflect on how those may affect public administrations – one of the most relevant players in the European data economy.
